MANUNGKOT- A NEW VIRAL DESTINATION FOR SUNRISE AND MOUNTAIN IN DAMAULI, TAHANUN
Mountain kisses the sky, walking above the cloud, manungkot dadha a perfect destination for the sunrise. our journey started from kathmandu about 148km away from manung dadha.Taking the highway of prithvi highway early at morning 8'o clock started our journey. resting and watcing the view while traveling in few places we reach our destination at evening 4 pm. the manung dadha was slightly further then highway to the left from byas municipility the path were little offroad and rise up till the destination. About 148 km west of Kathmandu and 50 km east of Pokhara.
This place has become one of the popular new tourist destination nearby Pokhara and it is located across Damauli and is two hours away from Pokhara. The view from Manungkot Dadha is especially beautiful during sunrise and sunset, when the clouds and mountains create a stunning contrast of colors you can see the sea of fog covering the city beneath it with the beautiful sunrise with the vista of the white snowcapped mountain in a panoromic view.
Since its height is 1058m above the sea level, we can see the cloud beneath us and also, the sunrise is another point of attraction We can enjoy the majestic view of sunrise from there as well, Damauli Bazaar (Disctrict Headquarter for Tanahun District in Gandaki Province) view of villages can be seen. More over sunset too in the evening.
This place offers the magnificent view popular mountains like Mt Machhapuchre, Mt Annapurna, Mt Lamjung, Mt Dhaulagiri, Mt Manaslu, Mt Himchuli, and more small mountains can be seen from Manung dadha.
